![]() This resonator guitar is L-O-U-D, it don't half resonate!! And has that distinctive metal resonator tone that is sadly missing from many guitars I've tried over the years. Made in 5/1989, serial number 015 from the National Resophonic Company in California, 'Islander' model. So, yours is most likely either brass or steel. National Resophonic's website states Augas the date for its first German silver guitar (many of the 1920s and 1930s guitars, of course, were German silver). Contact National Resophonic Guitars directly for further information. The Estralita Deluxe was made after 2001. ![]() Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars indicates that the Resolectric was probably made after 1990, but that serial number doesn't correspond with what is listed in the book. Condition: It works great with no issues! It does have some wear (see photos) and one small spot near the back of the neck pocket w. The serial number is 'Proto 001' so we are assuming a Prototype from their 2009 models. We don't have too much info on this National Triolian 12 fret from 2009.
